Myelography Cats

  • Cat

Myelography is an invasive radiological procedure for spinal canal investigation using contrast fluid and X-ray or CT. It offers detailed information but carries nerve tissue risks, performed by experienced professionals.

Myelography is a radiological investigation of the spinal canal using a contrast agent. The contrast fluid is injected into the spinal canal and then examined by diagnostic X-ray or CT scan. This gives the vet more information about your cat than a conventional X-ray or CT. Myelography is an invasive procedure and there is a risk of damaging nerve tissue. The procedure is therefore performed only in special situations and by experienced colleagues.
