Jaw surgery is sometimes necessary in animals because of fractures, an abscess or malformation. The purpose of this surgery is to relieve pain and/or enable normal feeding. The following conditions can be treated by dental and oral surgery:

  • Congenital malformations, e.g., cleft palate
